Never seen: a living dog without forefeet, without upper thigh bones and without shoulder blades, born in France, this dog is 11 weeks old and in Paris has been viewed with the greatest interest by His Majesty the Emperor and the highest dignitaries; therefore I also think to win the applause of esteemed nature lovers here in Leipzig. Bührlen was a glass- and landscape painter in Ulm; this seems to represent a professional reorientation. - At the left edge, bottom and top about 1 cm trimmed.

Noch nie gesehen: Ein lebender Hund ohne Vorderfüße, ohne obere Schenkelbeine und ohne Schulterblätter, in Frankreich geboren, dieser Hund ist 11 Wochen alt und in Paris von Sr. Majestät dem Kaiser und den höchsten Herrschaften mit dem größten Interesse besehen worden, daher denke ich auch hier in Leipzig von geehrten Naturfreunden mir Beifall zu erwerben.
