Beautiful lot of 10 antique envelopes with postcards – Fauna of Belgian Congo (KBIN, circa 1938) – 100% Complete & Unopened
Description:
Offered: a splendid, historically very interesting collection of 10 original paper envelopes (folders) with postcards about the fauna and medical history of Belgian Congo.
These educational series were issued in the late 1930s (ca. 1937–1939) by the then Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (now the KBIN) at Vautierstraat in Brussels. It concerns a highly sought-after, thematic collection with bilingual descriptions (Dutch and French).

100% Complete: All 10 envelopes contain the full, original set of 9 postcards per folder (total 90 postcards).
Unopened condition: All cards are completely blank and undescribed, without stamps or postmarks. The inside of the cards is in excellent condition.

The postcards themselves are in very neat, unopened condition.
The paper envelopes show the usual light signs of aging (patina) and bear a small hand-written number from a previous collector on the front, which adds to the authentic character.
