Stilnovo Buonanotte Table Lamp, 1970s

An iconic Italian design classic, the Buonanotte table lamp was designed by Giovanni Luigi Gorgoni for Stilnovo in 1965. Featuring a vibrant mustard-yellow lacquered metal frame, a spherical white opaline-glass diffuser and adjustable curved panels, the lamp allows the light to be modified to create different atmospheres. A distinctive example of mid-century Italian lighting, marked Stilnovo Milano and Made in Italy on the underside.
