Splendid vintage double bedspread (original from the 1950s/60s), entirely handmade in crochet by an expert artisan. It features a refined, dense pattern of geometric and floral motifs with perforations, completed by a lower geometric meander border and a very elegant continuous bevelled edge.

Unlike the classic heavy, coarse covers of the 1970s/80s, this piece is made with an ultra-fine, exceptionally high-quality cotton yarn. The entire bedspread weighs only 1.1 kg, a rare characteristic that attests to its extraordinary lightness, the quality of the thread, and the immense number of hours of work required to create it.
