Agfa Clack (Formato 120) – Special Edition Reinterpreted 'Munich / München Tribute', tested and working.
Description from the seller
We propose an unprecedented, elegant artistic-functional reinterpretation of the iconic Agfa Clack (originally produced between 1954 and 1965 by Agfa Camera-Werk AG in Munich).
This unique specimen arises from a careful conceptual and aesthetic restoration project that celebrates the history of the camera and its deep connection with its hometown: Munich (München).
Project features and artisan reinterpretation:
Homage to the hometown: The original faux leather/plastic body (often prone to wear and degradation over the decades) has been replaced with a high-value graphical coating depicting a striking vintage view of central Munich, highlighting the famous spires of the Frauenkirche and the historic Bavarian rooftops.
Innovative technical material: The new coating is made with cutting-edge technical material, designed specifically to offer excellent wear resistance, touch, and resistance to contact with oily substances, making the camera pleasant and secure to handle for everyday use.
Historically coherent design: The vintage graphic has been selected from several options to ensure perfect visual harmony with the machine’s 1950s lines and the original metal/bakelite parts.
Technical specifications:
Manufacturer: Agfa Camera-Werk AG, München (Germany)
Model: Clack
Film format: 120 (large 6x9 cm frames on medium format roll)
Lens: monochrome/MENSUS integrated with diaphragm/filter selector and focus adjustment (1–3 m / 3–10 feet and infinity)
Condition: Excellent aesthetic condition.
Shutter mechanism: Working.
Camera body: Intact and restored by hand.
