Description from the seller
From our selection of collectible minerals, we present a rare group of Natrolite crystals from Altavilla Vicentina, Vicenza.
Moreover, it is characterized by white acicular crystals gathered into elegant radiating aggregates on a dark basaltic matrix, with a vivid color contrast and a rare provenance, features that enhance its aesthetic value and mineralogical importance.
The specimen stands out for the quality of crystallization and for the overall aesthetic balance, with characteristics that highlight its natural structure and visual impact.
Natrolite is a mineral of the zeolite group, a hydrated sodium aluminum silicate that typically forms in cavities of basaltic rocks through the action of hydrothermal fluids at low temperature. The name derives from the Greek 'natron' (soda) and 'lithos' (stone), in reference to its high sodium content. The area of Altavilla Vicentina, in the Berici Hills, has historically been well known among collectors for the beauty and variety of zeolites found in the region’s tertiary volcanites.
This is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, even within the crystal therapy and lithotherapy fields, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species.
All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, except for extremely rare exceptions always noted in the description. Photos are taken with professional lighting to best showcase colors and details; however, slight variations in shade may occur depending on the device or ambient lighting.
Shipping is carried out via reliable and selected express couriers, with fast delivery (in many cases 1-2 working days in Europe), trackable and insured shipment, and professional and safe packing, as confirmed by customer reviews. Deliveries may also occur the day after payment depending on the destination.
It is possible to accumulate multiple purchases and receive them in a single shipment, even from auctions with different end dates, simply by contacting us to arrange the consolidation. For important pieces, direct home delivery by appointment or at major European fairs is also available.
