Description from the seller
Fossil mammoth tooth - Mammuthus primigenius
Very beautiful large tooth, in good condition
Clear black line along the chewing surface, the chewing surface is also very beautiful
What is especially beautiful about this tooth is that the lamellae are still nicely visible
This tooth has been desalinated and is still in clean water, everyone conserves it in their own way, I’m happy to leave that to the next owner as well
Doggerland no longer exists, but traces of it are still found on the beaches of the North Sea. It happens regularly that walkers, enthusiasts and researchers find something special there
Marvellous treasures such as a mammoth tooth. Even in dredged sand flats and in fishing nets bones are brought to the surface, such as this one at the end of 2024
