Description from the seller

1) Vintage coffee grinder produced by the French company Peugeot Frères. Founded in the 19th century, Peugeot began producing steel tools and grinders long before becoming famous for its automobiles.
Period: Primarily dating to the first half of the 20th century, with similar models produced from the 1940s onward.
Materials: Characterized by a square wooden body (often beech) with hoppers and metal mechanisms painted (in this case) blue, with a coordinated wooden crank knob.
Features: Displays the classic Peugeot emblem on the front and a removable drawer at the base to collect the ground coffee.
Collectibility: Peugeot grinders are highly sought-after collectibles, known for their history and the quality of their mechanisms. The blue color version is highly sought after because it is rare.

2) Splendid and iconic vintage manual coffee grinder produced in Italy by the famed factory F.B. Tre Spade (Fratelli Bertoldo), dating roughly to the mid-20th century (1950s/60s).
This model stands out from the classic wooden versions for its bold, industrial character: it features a square body entirely made of stamped sheet metal with vertical grooves, originally painted in a warm brown/bronze tone that has developed a beautiful patina over time. On the front is clearly visible the square metal embossing that bears the factory brand in relief. The top is topped by a domed cupola with a sliding panel for inserting the beans, completed by a metal crank with the original turned wooden knob. Unlike the drawer models, the coffee powder is collected at the bottom through an opening on the base.
A piece of great visual charm, perfect as a decorative element for rustic or modern kitchens or for display windows of coffee shops, as well as an essential item for collectors of coffee-world memorabilitia.
