Sony DCR-HC21E Mini DV-DV camera

The Sony DCR-HC21E is a MiniDV camcorder from the Handycam series. It features a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens with 20x optical zoom, a 2.5-inch flip-out LCD screen, and infrared night-vision capabilities; this specific unit is a PAL-format model. The camera sports a streamlined, silver-gray design with a compact, ergonomic form factor tailored for handheld use. Physical buttons—including controls for backlight compensation and an "Easy" shooting mode—are intuitively placed, reflecting the straightforward operational logic typical of consumer-grade portable video equipment from the mid-2000s.
The device has been tested and is fully functional, with both the LCD screen and the electronic viewfinder (EVF) displaying images correctly. The exterior shows minor signs of wear and light scratches consistent with regular use. Included with the camera are the original retail box, a charger, the original battery (battery health/capacity is not guaranteed), a remote control, and a branded hand strap.
