National Auto Focus M3 VHS camera in good physical condition and tested and working, using VHS/VHS-C tapes from the 1970s to 1980s.
Description from the seller
The National M3 is an all-in-one VHS camcorder released by Panasonic in the mid-1980s under the "National" brand; it represents an early example of portable video recording equipment designed for consumer use. The unit is equipped with a NEWVICON camera tube and an autofocus system, utilizing standard VHS tapes for both recording and playback. A tape compartment is located on the side of the body, while playback controls are integrated into the top; the "VHS MOVIE" branding on the chassis clearly defines its product category.
This listing includes the camcorder itself and an original National battery (battery capacity/health is not guaranteed). The exterior shows signs of use, including scratches, wear, and aging of the paint finish, though the lens elements remain intact. The device has not been tested for power-on, recording, or playback functionality; it is being sold strictly in its current, as-is condition.
