Vintage Star Wars Kenner collection — 1978–1984

Extensive personal Star Wars collection from my childhood, consisting of 23 original vintage Kenner action figures, 14 loose weapons and accessories, four vehicles, and a large Darth Vader Collector’s Case.

All items come from my own collection, assembled during my youth in the early 80s. Not a recently assembled collection, but toys that have been preserved for more than 40 years.

Several figures still retain their original mantles, headpieces and other clothing pieces.

14 weapons and accessories

A collection of 14 loose vintage weapons and accessories, including Ree-Yees’ rifle, the Gamorrean Guard’s axe, and various Imperial and Rebel blasters.

Several figures have their accompanying weapons. Some figures are complete with accessories, others incomplete. One staff has a damaged tip.

Four original vehicles

1. X-Wing Fighter — Battle Damaged version

With R2-D2 dome, cockpit cap and two visible laser cannons. The wing mechanism works and the wings hold in the open X position. Notable yellowing, heavily worn stickers, missing cannons, and a repaired part.

2. ISP-6 Imperial Shuttle Pod (1983)

With folding wings, two side cannons and a transparent cockpit cap. The central tail fin is missing. Evidence of wear and color fading.

3. AST-5 Armored Sentinel Transport (1983)

Orange/Yellow Mini-Rig with two rotating cannons, functioning cockpit and extendable panels. Stickers largely well preserved. Likely complete and in good used condition.

4. Imperial Speeder Bike (1983)

Beige/black vehicle with functioning explosive mechanism. Front construction partially incomplete. Original Biker Scout figure also included in the collection.

Darth Vader Collector’s Case

Large original Kenner storage case in the shape of Darth Vader’s helmet and chest plate.

* Nice black front with clearly recognizable details
* Original interior layout and figure holders present
* Several original name stickers on the inside
* Exterior carefully cleaned

The back shows signs of use, light sticker residue and fine etched text from my childhood. This is visible in the photos.

Overall condition

All items are used and approximately 40 to 48 years old.

Normal to clear signs of aging and use, including scratches, paint wear, discoloration, damaged stickers and missing or damaged accessories.

The moving mechanisms of the X-Wing, AST-5 and Speeder Bike have been tested and operate.

No original boxes present. The collection is sold in the condition as photographed, without restoration of the vintage components.

A beautiful and extensive Star Wars collection from the original Kenner era, featuring both familiar characters and vehicles, plus the iconic Darth Vader storage case.
