Description from the seller

This handwoven Kilim is characterized by a modern, graphic design and an unusually balanced color composition. The large central field is defined by softly interlocking color areas, organized in vertical sections, and appearing especially vivid due to their irregular, jagged transitions.

In terms of color, the dominating shades are bluish gray, coral red, cream, sand, olive green, and dark green. The individual color fields do not merge abruptly into one another but interlock with fine, irregular edges. This creates a modern, almost abstract effect.

On the two narrow sides, the central field is framed by several decorative stripes. There, brown, coral red, dark green, bluish gray, and cream alternate. Small recurring geometric elements also add structure and give the rug a clear frame.

The visible weave structure and the fine irregularities emphasize the handcraft character. With its dimensions of 212 × 146 cm, the Kilim is particularly well suited for living, sleeping, or work areas.
