Fern - Fossil plate matrix - Neuropteris ovata (No reserve price)

Magnificent example of Neuropteris Ovata, with an exquisite presentation on the matrix. It has a small detail, a small frond of Anularia sphenopilloides taking the place of a frond of Neuropteris. The piece features a strong three‑dimensional relief and very clear details; the internal venation of the leaf can be seen perfectly. It is preserved and will be reinforced with Paraloyd B-72 for its final consolidation. A collection specimen, exceptionally well preserved, a fossil of outstanding quality. Dimensions can be seen in the photographs. We do not ship to Italy due to the new legislation being so restrictive for fossil imports.
