AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
This impressive bronze sculpture depicts a crouching panther, capturing the animal’s power, agility and quiet intensity in a dynamic, low-set pose. Its elongated silhouette and muscular form create a striking composition inspired by the elegant animalier tradition associated with Art Deco design.
The carefully modelled contours convey both the panther’s strength and its natural grace. The bronze surface is hand-finished, enhancing the sculptural details and rich patina while giving the piece depth and visual character. Its elongated proportions are complemented by a substantial marble base, creating a harmonious contrast between the fluid lines of the animal and the solidity of the stone.
With its impressive length and considerable weight, this sculpture makes a distinctive statement in a refined interior. It is well suited to display as a standalone centrepiece or as part of a collection of decorative bronze animal figures, bringing a sense of movement, elegance and timeless appeal to its surroundings.
The sculpture is presented on a marble base. The shape of the base remains consistent, although the natural veining and colour variations may differ, as each base is individually selected. Each sculpture is hand-finished, giving every piece subtle individual characteristics.

Craftsmanship & Casting Technique
Each sculpture is individually cast using the traditional lost-wax casting method (cire perdue) and meticulously hand-finished by skilled artisans. This prestigious technique is renowned for capturing exceptional detail, refined textures and the timeless beauty of fine bronze sculpture, ensuring that every piece possesses its own unique character.
As a natural consequence of this artisanal casting process, small residual particles from production may occasionally remain inside the sculpture. This is an inherent characteristic of the traditional manufacturing technique and does not affect the quality, structural integrity, durability or artistic value of the artwork in any way.
