Historic Note
The Porsche 904/8 "Känguruh" (Kangaroo) is the nickname given to a specific series of five open-top hillclimb race cars built by Porsche in 1965. Based on the famous 904 Carrera GTS coupe, these cars were stripped down for maximum lightness, equipped with a powerful flat-8 engine of 1982cc and given the nickname "kangaroo" because of their erratic, hopping roadholding on uneven roads.
