Description from the seller
Chromo cards, collectible cards from Fa. Stollwerck of Cologne (Germany)
Chocoladefabriek Gebroeders Stollwerck in Cologne, founded in 1838, was at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century the world's largest chocolate producer. Stollwerck was world-famous for its vending machines, the “automatenplaatjes” (vending-machine pictures), and the albums that had a major influence on the rise of sticker/collecting albums across Europe and in the Netherlands in particular. Stollwerck established chocolate companies at the turn of the century in Austria, England, the United States, Belgium and Denmark. In 1904 a subsidiary was also founded in Amsterdam, the N.V. Gebroeders Stollwerck Cacaofabriek. And as in many European big cities, a chocolate shop was built directly, namely in the prestigious Kalverstraat.

316 cards of about 9 x 4 cm for various albums that Stollwerck ever issued.
The chromos/collectible cards are in good condition with a few signs of use on some.
The cards are a bit bowed because they were stored in a box for several years; this does not affect the condition in which they are. A few duplicates included.
