Antique religious pendant in refined silver filigree, crafted with elegant artisanal work featuring a floral/ray motif.
The pendant presents a hollow, filigreed structure made of very fine silver threads woven together and enriched by small hand-applied decorative spheres, which confer great visual lightness and ornamental value.
In the center is inserted a bifacial oval medallion with sacred subjects in relief: on one side the Madonna with Child crowned, on the other the profile of Saint Joseph, with the visible inscription “GIUSEPPE.” The double religious iconography makes the piece particularly interesting for collectors of sacred art and devotional jewelry.
Italian manufacture of the 19th century, with echoes of Sardinian and Southern filigree traditions.
Good condition for its age, with natural signs of time, slight patina and small wear compatible with use and the period, testifying to its authenticity.
A fascinating object, ideal as a collection pendant, ex-voto, or vintage sacred jewelry element.
