Description from the seller
Antique Flour Sieve Transformed into Wall Shelf – Curved Wood – Rustic/Industrial Wabi-Sabi Style – Mid 20th Century
Elegant and evocative wall shelf created through careful recovery and upcycling of an antique wooden flour or cereal sieve. The outer circular frame is a magnificent example of past artisanal craftsmanship, made in steam-bent wood with original era joints clearly visible, giving the object an unmatched historical charm. Inside, a horizontal solid wood shelf has been skillfully inserted, transforming an old rural tool into a unique and functional piece of furniture.
Perfect for Rustic, Farmhouse, Industrial Chic environments or to enrich a wall with a minimalist Wabi-Sabi touch. Ideal as a display for small collectibles, spices in the kitchen, fragrances or small succulent plants.
• Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The wood shows a beautiful original patina of time, with small signs of natural wear that certify its authenticity and history, without compromising its structural robustness. Ready to be hung (a small hole/attachment is on the back).
• Dimensions: 40 x 40 x 16 cm
• Weight: about 1 kg
