French Vallauris “Terre et Flammes” – Large Pineapple Punch Bowl with Six Matching Cups – Mid-Century Vintage

An exceptional and highly decorative vintage French ceramic punch set, beautifully modelled in the form of a tropical pineapple, complete with its original removable lid and six matching drinking cups.

Made in Vallauris, France, and bearing the “Terre et Flammes – Vallauris – Made in France” mark, this impressive ensemble is attributed to the flourishing period of French decorative ceramics, circa 1950s–1970s.

Vallauris, situated on the French Riviera, became internationally celebrated during the mid-20th century for its artistic pottery, imaginative designs and richly coloured glazes.

Hollywood Regency meets French Riviera Glamour.

The large pineapple-shaped vessel features a beautifully textured surface, finished in warm amber, golden yellow and deep brown glazes, complemented by a sculptural crown of glossy green leaves. The six matching cups repeat the pineapple motif, each with a distinctive handle and green leaf decoration.

Originally conceived as a festive punch service for serving fruit punch or other shared beverages, the set is equally impressive as a decorative centerpiece, bringing a touch of French Riviera charm and mid-century tropical elegance to any interior.
