Pokémon - 1 Card - Lugia No.249

Lugia, from the original Pokémon TCG (back-side), has enjoyed immense popularity from the first generation to the present day. Cards from the "neo Expansion Pack Vol. 1," released in 2000, are particularly highly sought after by collectors.

This article summarizes the reasons for the popularity of original Lugia cards and highlights some representative cards.

Why are original Lugia cards so popular?

Overwhelming rarity: Original cards (1996-2001) have not been reprinted, and Lugia, in particular, was immensely popular at the time as the main Pokémon in the movie "The Power of One."

Attractive artwork: The artwork, which expresses the divinity and power of a legendary Pokémon, is highly valued for its artistry by modern collectors.

Rarity of cards in good condition: Due to the passage of time, cards in good condition are rare, and perfect condition cards command extremely high premium prices.
