Suze Boschma-Berkhout - Statuette, Zorg met liefde - 20 cm - Bronze

Care with Love
Very beautiful and expressive symbolic sculpture in bronze by the well-known Dutch sculptor Suze (Suus) Boschma-Berkhout (1922-1997). The work shows two stylized human figures, in which one figure tenderly supports and embraces the other. It is a beautiful, tangible ode to care, connectedness, and compassion in society.
The sculpture is characterized by a vivid, rough skin texture that is typical for Boschma-Berkhout's figurative work (also known for the iconic monument of 'Bartje' in Assen). The piece is in good, original condition.
