Description from the seller

Important round decorative textile piece, embroidered and beaded, with a matching bottle cover – diameter approx. 90 cm – unique piece

Beautiful decorative textile ensemble consisting of two matching elements: a large circular piece about 90 cm in diameter and its coordinated bottle cover.

The main piece features a particularly rich and dense decoration combining raised embroidery, metallic-effect threads, and a very large number of sequins, in an elegant ivory, silver, and gold palette.

The design is arranged in floral and plant compositions, with large palmette/paisley-style forms laid out harmoniously across the surface. The high density of ornament produces very beautiful light effects.

The matching bottle cover, visible in the photographs, repeats the same embroidery and sequins. Its presence completes the ensemble and gives it a particularly decorative character.

Dimensions: circular piece, approx. 90 cm in diameter.
Number of pieces: 2 (round textile piece + bottle cover).
Colors: ivory/off-white, silver and gold.
Materials: textile base, embroidery threads, metallic elements and sequins.
Manufacturer: Tunisian traditional crafts
Origin: Marsaoui embroidered and beaded textile set – Nabeul – Tunisia

Condition: Very good overall given the delicate nature of the work. The numerous photographs, including close-up views of the decor and the back, are an integral part of the description and allow appreciation of the state, technique, and richness of the work."
