Description from the seller

Akai AT-52L quartz synthesizer AM/FM/LW stereo tuner, built in Japan (circa 1987–1989). Technically in 100% functioning condition with fast frequency locking and interference-free reception; visually in neat vintage condition with light signs of use consistent with age.
For enthusiasts of thoughtful radio technology from the late 1980s, the AT-52L offers a very stable digital tuning system. The core is formed by a quartz-controlled PLL synthesizer (Phase Locked Loop), which keeps stations locked in without drift. Unlike the standard AT-52, this 'L' version provides three-band reception: FM, Medium Wave (MW) and Long Wave (LW).
In terms of sound, the tuner delivers clean, balanced and calm stereo sound with low background noise and excellent channel separation. The front panel features a bright display with a digital signal strength meter, direct frequency access, and memory for 16 favorite stations. A convenient feature is the switchable IF Band (Wide/Narrow): in the 'Wide' position the tuner delivers maximum audio quality with minimal distortion for strong signals, while 'Narrow' provides high selectivity to receive closely spaced, weak stations interference-free.
