Description from the seller
This slab features two Carpopenaeus Callirostris shrimp fossils surrounded by fossilized remains and a small fish at the rear, and it is of excellent quality. It comes from the famous Cenomanian deposits of Hjoula, Lebanon, one of the world's most important fossil sites, dating to the Upper Cretaceous about 96 million years ago.
These specimens are excellent for display, and their matrix is intact; even on the back there are fossil remains.
The fossil shrimp have a light pearl gray color when uncovered; in this case we left part of the shrimp natural and highlighted their antennae for display purposes. They have undergone a conservative treatment with Paraloid B72 to protect them from pollution, as is used for museums.
Shipping is via express courier and traceable, and they are well packed.
