Lot of 36 Belgian silver coins from 1866–1909, including 50 centiem, 1 franc and 2 francs, not certified.
Description from the seller
Belgium — Leopold II — 23 silver coins: 50 centiem, 1 and 2 francs — 1866–1909
Lot of 33 Belgian silver coins from the reign of Albert I, with various years in the period 1910–1914 and both Dutch- and French-language inscriptions.
Composition:
* 2 × 2 francs: 1910 and 1911
* 22 × 1 franc, various years
* 9 × 50 centiem, various years
The coins depict the portrait of Albert I. On the reverse sides the value and the year are within a laurel wreath, with the motto “L’Union fait la force” or “Eendracht maakt macht.” The lot contains duplicates.
Silver content: 835/1000.
The theoretical total weight is 152.5 g, corresponding to approximately 127.34 g of pure silver. These weights are calculated on the basis of standard weights; due to wear in circulation the actual weight may be lower.
Mixed circulation quality, with varying preservation of details, patina, discolorations, scratches, and, in several pieces, pronounced wear. The coins have not been independently graded. See the photos for the condition of each coin.
You will receive the 33 coins shown.
