Historic Informations
the Race of the Worlds was organized in Monza in 1957 and in 1958 - the purpose was to re-unite the USA racing cars and European racing cars - in this case too Sportscars were invited - they had a very rough time since the Indy Racers dominated both heats - this Jaguar suffered over 18 laps distance in each heat - still I don't understand why they just did not invite only single seaters.
