Description from the seller
Classic Monofoglia Silik Showcase in Venetian Baroque Rococo Style
Elegant classic monofoglia display case signed Silik, characterized by a richly decorated structure in Venetian Baroque and Rococo style, with sinuous shapes and a strong scenographic impact. The furniture features a refined cream lacquered finish, enhanced by elaborate relief gilded decorations and delicate pale green floral details.
The upper part features a prominent shaped pediment, enriched with volutes, leaves and ornamental motifs. The three-sided glass composition presents a wide central curved glass door, decorated with fine gold motifs, and two elegant glazed sides that showcase the display of objects kept inside.
The interior is lined in burgundy red fabric and has three glass shelves, ideal for displaying porcelain, crystal and collectible items. The lower part features a wide pull-out drawer, enhanced by rich gilded ornamental carvings, perfectly integrated into the structure.
The base, particularly elaborate, is supported by elegant curved legs, connected by a central shaped brace with floral decoration. The slender proportions, ornamental finishes and the refined color contrast between the cream lacquer, the gilding and the red upholstery give the piece a sumptuous and refined aesthetic.
