Fase 520c table lamp in black metal with a rotatable diffuser, chrome curved arm, weighted base, and two E27 bulbs, designed by Luis Perez de la Oliva and produced in Spain in the 1960s–1970s, in good used condition with minor signs of wear.
Description from the seller
FASE lamp, model 520 C, in black.
Metal shade with a black-painted ball joint for orientation that allows light to be varied in different positions, shortening and lengthening the lamp size. Chrome steel arm with curved lines fixed to a ballast base of the same color. Works with two E-27 bulbs protected by a light-diffusing glass. Functioning correctly.
All original components: paint, wiring, chrome and plug... The original glass diffuser is in perfect condition: no “hairs,” scratches and it remains transparent. It is a piece over 50 years old and, therefore, shows signs of aging that can be seen in the photos. Please, review the photographs carefully as they are part of the product description: it has defects in the paint, stains on the chrome and loss of paint on the inner part of the lamp that are hidden by the diffuser glass.
The Fase 520c is an icon of Spanish industrial design of the 1960s and 70s not only due to its undisputed aesthetic beauty but also because it has been used countless times by art directors in the world of cinema, as an ‘attrezzo’ for numerous Spanish and international films: it is the desk lamp of the Mayors Ruth Jahns and Bernard Holland in the series “Silo,” it has appeared in Dr. House, Ragnarok, Money Heist, Midsomer Murders, etc…
