Description from the seller
Beautiful, complete blue luxury collector's box of 'The Adventures of Tintin' (published by Casterman).
A wonderful collector's item for the true comic and Tintin fan!
On the occasion of Tintin's 75th anniversary, 2008 Tintin Belgium Hergé Europe.
Condition of the set:
• Books: As good as new / unread. They have always purely sat on display in a dry cabinet and have hardly been paged through.
• Box: The blue slide cassette is in very nice and neat condition (see photos).
• Scent: Authentic, very faint nostalgic 'old books/cabinet scent' because the set has stood untouched in the cabinet for a long time. Absolutely no smoke or moisture damage!
Specifications:
• Contains 8 luxury bound hardcover books in handy A5 format.
• Contains all 24 official color stories.
• One part additionally contains over 100 pages of unique background information about Hergé and the origin of Tintin.
A splendid cassette (22 cm x 13.5 cm x 15 cm) comprising 8 beautiful bound comic books published to celebrate Tintin's 75th birthday. The cassette contains all official, color-printed Tintin stories and also the highly unique and rare editions 'Tintin in the Land of the Soviets' and 'Tintin and the Alpha Art'.
The first book also contains over 100 pages of additional information about the author, history and creation of the adventures of the world's most famous reporter. A must for every Tintin lover.
• The comic pages: Because this is a compact format (A5), Hergé's classic pages are reduced in size, but fully in color and printed on high-quality paper. The first part also often contains extra pages with background information about Hergé. Weighs about 3.5 kg
