Description:
Refined and elegant complete bar set consisting of an ice bucket and a thermal glacette bottle cooler coordinated. A magnificent expression of Italian craftsmanship and design from the Mid-Century Modern period in perfect Hollywood Regency style.
The set was produced in Italy by the renowned manufacturer Lidian, which in the 1960s and 1970s registered the famous patented brand "Glacette". Both pieces feature a central body clad with a magnificent dense geometric caramel/tobacco-colored weave texture, elegantly framed by mirror-bright gold/brass metal finishes.
Exceptional collectible value detail:
Under the base of the glacette is perfectly preserved the original label of the historic and prestigious luxury boutique "Ugo Poggi" (Via Strozzi, Florence), founded in 1922 and a benchmark for high-end objets d’art of Florentine nobility. The factory mark is also impressed on the metal "Glacette - Made in Italy".
The interior of both containers is provided with white plastic thermal insulation, perfectly clean and intact, ideal for maintaining the temperature of wines, sparkling wines, or ice during elegant receptions.
