AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Beautiful decorative sculpture inspired by the famous work “La Petite Danseuse de Quatorze Ans” by Edgar Degas.
The statue shows a young ballerina in a graceful, subdued pose. The sculpture has a warm bronze appearance, a gold-colored structured bodice and a real pink tulle skirt. It is this combination of hard sculptural forms and soft fabric that gives the statue a special and elegant look.
The details are beautifully worked out: the face, the hair, the bodice with buttons, the bow at the back and the classic pose of the ballerina create a refined whole. The statue stands on a sturdy plinth with signature, making it immediately nice to place in an interior, gallery corner, display case or art collection.
A stylish decorative object for lovers of ballet, classical art and sculptures.
