Steel table lamp, model Boomerang 2000, designed by Luis Perez de la Oliva, Spain, circa the 1960s, 30 cm wide, 57 cm deep, 42 cm high, 7.5 kg, in working order, black and gray finish, two E‑27 bulbs with a glass diffuser, 360° rotating arm, original diffuser and base label, cable non‑original; condition: acceptable, heavily used with possible minor parts missing.
Description from the seller
Table lamp manufactured in 1969 by the FASE brand, Boomerang 2000 model in black and gray. The lamp has defects in the gray paint on the arm.
NO RESERVE PRICE
Black-painted metal shade with a swivel joint for orientation that allows light to be varied in different positions. Gray steel arm curved in shape, fixed to a weighted black base that allows 360-degree rotation. It runs on two E-27 bulbs protected by a glass diffuser.
Keeps all original elements: glass, paint, brand sticker on the base, etc. The wiring is not original.
This lamp has the metal glass-adjustment screw (not plastic).
The lamp is an original vintage item from 1964 and, as seen in the photos, may have some marks from age: most notably a defect in the gray arm paint. The black paint is in good condition; apart from that, it remains in good condition despite its 60 years of history. The original glass diffuser is in perfect condition: no ‘hairs,’ nor scratches.
As a curiosity, these lamps are so charming and iconic that they have appeared in many famous series and films: Bohemian Rhapsody, The Queen’s Gambit, etc."} } {
