FASE. The Book is an essential publication for enthusiasts of Spanish industrial design of the 20th century, and especially for collectors of the emblematic FASE lamps. Conceived as the first work devoted entirely to this historic firma, it constitutes a pioneering piece of research, documentation and cataloguing of one of the most representative brands of Spanish design from the sixties and seventies. It also shows the history of other brands, whose designers were the same as FASE: MAOF, LUPELA, GEI, GRIN LUZ, ....

Founded in Madrid in 1964 by Pedro Martín, FASE achieved notable international visibility thanks to its futuristic designs, its innovative technical solutions and the combination of materials such as chrome metal, steel, wood and crystal. Its lamps became design icons of their time and were exported to more than 30 countries.

The book recovers and documents the brand’s history, identifies its designers and gathers photographs of the catalogued models, with information on their creation dates and authorship. A fundamental contribution to the study of these luminaires, whose history remained for years partially unknown and surrounded by erroneous attributions.

Published in a limited edition. Only 200 copies were printed in 2018 and it will not be reissued. FASE, The Book has become a particularly interesting reference for collectors, researchers and vintage design enthusiasts.
