Historical-artistic description:
A piece of exceptional refinement and elegance, this small cabinet represents a piece of high antique cabinetmaking, particularly rare: it is a center-piece, designed to be displayed freely in a salon as it is entirely veneered in pale walnut burl and decorated with complex inlays in the Boulle style on all four sides (front, back and sides).
The front panel opens to a capacious internal cavity, while the exterior is sloped by beveled uprights decorated with bronze applications.
This precious furnishing comes from the refined salons of a historic Venetian noble residence and is paired (pendant) with the center table of the same collection. For build quality, full-surface finish and condition, it represents a piece of great interest for discerning collectors and exclusive interiors.
