Description:
For sale is an absolute collector's dream: a Dual HS 26 compact stereo system in breathtaking, near-mint condition. This late mid-century modern system comes complete with its original Dual CL 11 wooden speakers and represents the pinnacle of 1970s German plug-and-play design.

It features the reliable Dual 420 chassis and a Dual CDS 650 ceramic cartridge, delivering that authentic, warm, and nostalgic sound signature characteristic of the golden era of vinyl.

Technical Specifications:
• Turntable Chassis: Dual 420 (Idler wheel drive)
• Cartridge / Stylus: Dual CDS 650 ceramic stereo cartridge
• Amplifier Power: 2 x 6 Watts (Musical power) with a 10-transistor circuit
• Speeds: 33 and 45 RPM
• Speakers: Dual CL 11 (4 Ohms, matching broadband wooden cabinets)

Technical Condition:
Cleaned, lubricated, and verified. The 2-pole asynchronous motor starts up instantly and runs nice. The manual tonearm mechanism (start, lift, and stop) functions flawlessly and smoothly. The amplifier delivers a balanced, clear sound on both channels with quiet potentiometers.

Cosmetic Condition:
Very nice, near-mint condition. The wooden cabinets of both the console and the speakers have been cleaned, showing absolutely no major flaws. Crucially, the original plexiglass dust cover is beautifully preserved with very small signes of wear, very rare find for a unit of this age.
A stunning, fully functional design piece that looks and plays like it just left the factory floor in 1973.
