Condition

Mechanical

Zoom and focus mechanisms operate smoothly and precisely.

Thanks to internal focusing (IF), the physical length of the lens does not change during focusing. The characteristic One-Touch Focus Clutch from Tokina allows switching directly between autofocus and manual focus.

The Nikon version of the DX II is equipped with an internal quiet autofocus motor, allowing autofocus on Nikon DSLR cameras without built-in AF drive.
