Richard Ginori - Cesare Lacca - Dinner service (9) - Mondovì - Ceramic - Mondovì Autumn

Richard Ginori dinner service, Mondovì model, Autumn pattern – one of the most sought-after designs – consisting of:
9 flat plates, 20 cm in diameter.
A great success for Richard-Ginori in the 1950s, 60s and 70s, this stoneware product was made first in Mondovì and later in Laveno. The shape design, with soft, relaxed lines, is attributed to Cesare Lacca, who created one of the first decorations for this service, featuring views of Capri houses. Subsequently the Paola shape was mainly paired with vibrant floral decorations (as in this case).
Each plate is finely hand-painted.
These are true works of art.
Good condition, with signs of use and age and craquelure typical of this type of ceramic.
