A specimen of ESTETICA MALACHITE VERDE INTENSO with crystals on a matrix, weighing 69 g, from Kolwezi Mine, Kolwezi, Mutshatsha, Lualaba, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Description from the seller
From our selection of collectible minerals, we present a splendid group of Malachite crystals from Kolwezi, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Moreover, it is characterized by a dense druse of deep green, bright crystals, arranged on matrix with gleaming surfaces that enhance its aesthetic value and mineralogical importance. The specimen stands out for the quality of crystallization and for the overall aesthetic balance, with features that enhance its natural structure and visual impact.
Malachite is a basic copper carbonate whose intense green color derives precisely from the presence of copper in the crystal structure. The Lualaba region, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is part of the famous Central African Copperbelt, one of the areas with the highest concentration of copper and cobalt deposits in the world, from which some of the finest malachite specimens on the market today originate. Since ancient times this mineral has been used as a pigment and as an ornamental stone thanks to its brilliance and the characteristic banded or botryoidal texture.
This is an ideal specimen for mineralogical collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, also within the realm of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species.
All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, except for very rare exceptions always noted in the description. The photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight variations in shade may occur depending on the device or ambient light.
Shipping is carried out via reliable and carefully selected express couriers, with fast delivery (in many cases 1-2 working days in Europe), traceable and insured shipping and professional and safe packing, as confirmed by customer reviews. Deliveries can also occur the day after payment depending on the destination.
It is possible to accumulate purchases and receive them in a single shipment, even from auctions with different deadlines, simply by contacting us to organize the consolidation. For important pieces, direct home delivery by appointment or at major European fairs is also available.
