Antique Art Nouveau Val Saint Lambert annagreen crystal wine glasses with etching – Set of 6 (ca. 1890–1920)

These antique glasses come from the Art Nouveau period and were produced between circa 1890 and 1920.

The glasses are made by the renowned Belgian crystal factory Val Saint Lambert.

Each glass is fully handblown and crafted by hand.

The goblets feature a refined, hand-etched geometric rim and manually cut vertical facets.

Manufactured from annagreen crystal (uranium glass). With the addition of uranium oxide, the glasses exhibit a spectacular, bright green fluorescence under ultraviolet light (blacklight). In ordinary daylight they have a subtle soft green tint.

Height is 11 cm. The diameter at the top of the goblet is about 6.5 cm and the diameter of the base is about 5.5 cm.

The set is in very good antique condition.

Deze antieke glazen stammen uit de Art Nouveau-periode en zijn geproduceerd tussen circa 1890 en 1920.

De glazen zijn gemaakt door de gerenommeerde Belgische kristalfabriek Val Saint Lambert.

Elk glas is volledig handgeblazen en ambachtelijk met de hand gevormd. 

De kelken zijn voorzien van een verfijnde, met de hand geëtste geometrische rand en handmatig ingeslepen verticale facetten.

Vervaardigd uit annagroen kristal (uraniumglas). Door de toevoeging van uraniumoxide vertonen de glazen onder ultraviolet licht (blacklight) een spectaculaire, felgroene fluorescentie. In gewoon daglicht hebben ze een subtiele zachtgroene tint.

De hoogte is 11 cm. De diameter aan de bovenzijde van de kelk is circa 6,5 cm en de diameter van de voet is circa 5,5 cm.

De set verkeert in een zeer goede antieke staat.
