Bang & Olufsen - BeoGram 6500 White Edition + MMC 2 Stylus Very Rare ! Serviced by B&O Turntable

The Bang & Olufsen BeoGram 6500 in its original white version is one of the rarest and most sought-after collectibles from the B&O era of Jacob Jensen. While the vast majority of turntables at the time were sold in polished aluminium or black, this White Edition was produced in a very limited run to match the exclusive white Master Control systems. Today, an original white example—especially in complete, working condition—rarely appears on the market.
What makes this specimen extra exceptional is the presence of the precious and sought-after MMC2 cartridge. This cartridge sits directly underneath the flagship MMC1 and features a naked-mounted multi-facet Contact Line diamond on a solid sapphire cantilever, with a stylus pressure of only 1.0 gram. In combination with the electronically controlled tangential tonearm, the stylus follows the groove in a perfectly straight line at an exact angle of 90 degrees. This completely eliminates tangential distortion and prevents groove wear. Thanks to the built-in RIAA preamplifier, the turntable can be connected directly in a plug-and-play manner to any modern amplifier or active speaker, as well as to classic B&O systems via Datalink.
The mechanism has recently undergone maintenance at a B&O dealer.
