Authentic hand-painted porcelain fine collectible figurine, from the prestigious German manufacturer Sitzendorf (Thuringia).

This vintage piece (early 20th century, model created from 1902) bears under its base the famous historic blue crowned "S" stamp.

It represents a magnificent Rococo / Louis XV style gallant scene, featuring a high-society couple in period attire on a bench. The finesse of the details, the movement of the drapes and the richness of the hand-painted color palette (deep cobalt blue, bright yellow, violet and floral motifs) attest to the exceptional craftsmanship of the Saxon manufactory at that time.
