AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
A rare and characterful original Beaumont steel cash box, dating from circa 1900. Its greatest feature is the beautifully developed golden-brown oxidised patina, formed naturally over more than a century. The rich, warm tones and textured surface give this example an exceptionally authentic and distinctive appearance.
The original red-painted interior provides a striking contrast with the aged exterior. Complete with its original key and smoothly working lock, together with its original decorative punched detailing.
Condition: Very good and highly authentic for its age, with natural oxidation, age-related wear and scratches that contribute to its character.
Dimensions: 14 × 10 × 7 cm
A particularly rare and beautifully patinated Beaumont cash box, ideal for collectors of antique cash boxes, early security objects and industrial design.
Professionally packed and shipped with care.
