Description from the seller
Set of 2 vintage magazine racks / newspaper racks – Mid-Century Modern – steel, chrome and wood – 1950s-1970s
Beautiful set of two vintage magazine racks from the second half of the 20th century, executed in two distinctive designs that perfectly suit a Mid-Century Modern or Scandinavian interior.
The first rack is made from bent wire with an elegant, minimalist form. The open construction and airy lines are characteristic of the functional design of the 1950s and 60s.
The second rack combines dark wood with a chrome-plated metal frame. The clean line pattern and the mix of warm and industrial materials give the piece a pronounced Scandinavian look.
Both racks are unmarked, but clearly show the design features of post-war European design. They can be used for magazines, newspapers, books or vinyl records and also make attractive decorative objects.
Dimensions – wire rack:
Height: approx. 42 cm
Width: approx. 40 cm
Dimensions – wooden rack:
Height: approx. 29 cm
Width: approx. 40 cm
Condition: In good vintage condition with normal signs of use and aging appropriate for age and use. There are some rust spots on the metal. See photos for an accurate impression of the condition.

A decorative and versatile set that fits perfectly in a vintage, design- or modern interior.
