Boch Frères., Keramis Boch - Dinner set (11) - Canton B.W.F. – Fine Printed Earthenware Plates – Turquoise & Gold Accents – 19th Century - Iron Land

Antique 19th-century Canton-style dessert and starterware from the Canton model manufactured by the Belgian firm Boch Frères. canton-dessert-plates-from-boch-freres-la-louviere-belgium-1860s-set-of-8)

Features a polychrome decoration inspired by Asian and Chinese motifs, popularly known as the motif of "the sage under the veranda." It stands out and combines striking turquoise, brown and golden accents, characteristic of fine transfer-printed tableware of the era, with a very decorative pattern and classical scenes. It is a fabulous set for good table service and dining, and also highly combinable with other solid or floral tableware. It is also ideal as a display piece in a vitrine, thanks to its presence and color.

Complete set for 11 services.

This is an exceptional and exclusive set for collectors and interiors, hard to find due to its age, style, large number of pieces, and excellent conservation. All plates retain their original registry.

This set is not new: it is over 140 years old. It retains vivid tones in the pattern, a very attractive patina of age, and slight nuances of the varnish typical of the passing of time.
A plate with a clean, unbroken cut is worth highlighting, clearly reflected in the penultimate images.
