"This lot comes from a major personal collection of Pathé Baby 9.5 mm films assembled over the years. The various proposed lots correspond to a thematic classification intended to preserve the historical coherence of the series and to facilitate their acquisition by collectors."
Lot No. 3 – Westerns and adventures
Pathé Baby 9.5 mm Collection – Buffalo Bill – Westerns – about 27 reels
A very fine set of Pathé Baby films devoted to the great adventure films and classic westerns.
This lot brings together several complete or nearly complete series, among which Buffalo Bill, The Indians Attack, The Broken Spur, The Sons of the Gold Prospector, Princess of China, Night Is My Kingdom, Bibi Fricotin, as well as several other action and adventure films.
Westerns and adventure films have been one of the greatest successes of the Pathé Baby catalogue. These editions allowed private individuals to project the great classics of popular cinema at home.
