Description from the seller
LOT NO. 6 – French comedies and curiosities
Pathé Baby 9.5 mm Collection –
These Pathé Baby editions testify to the aim of making the great works of French cinema accessible to the general public.
The presence of complete series constitutes a real interest for collectors.
This lot gathers a varied assortment of French comedies, burlesque films, and productions that are now somewhat rare.
Among them are films by Fernand Raynaud, Beaucitron, Monsieur Pipelet, Robinson en herbe, Pickpoquet, Negritina, as well as several humorous and family-oriented productions published by Pathé Baby.
These films illustrate the diversity of the Pathé catalog, which combined popular stars, humorous short films, and productions intended for family entertainment.
This collection will appeal to collectors seeking less common titles that are representative of French popular cinema.
The films are sold with the boxes visible in the photographs.
The photographs are an integral part of the description and allow for precise assessment of the condition of the films and boxes.
