Description from the seller
Beautiful collection that mainly consists of iconic European classics from the period 1940-1970:
1. Citroën 2CV ("Ugly Duckling")
• The yellow top-left (in the original transparent Herpa packaging).
• The yellow in the middle (next to the black car).
• The light green in the middle row.
• The pink on the right side of the middle row.
2. Mercedes-Benz Classics
• Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster / Coupé: In the top left, the two silver-colored models immediately stand out. The left one is the legendary open-top sports car (Roadster) or gull-wing doors.
• Mercedes-Benz "Heckflosse" (W110/W111): Far left in the bottom row is a light gray sedan with the characteristic tail fins from the 1960s.
• Mercedes-Benz 190 SL / 300 SL (Coupé/Cabriolet): In the second row from the left there are two blue/gray convertibles parked that also carry strong features of classic Mercedes sports cars from that era.
• Citroën DS ("Snoek"): In the middle row, to the right of the light-green Duck, is a mint-green Citroën DS sedan with its distinctive aerodynamic, futuristic shape.
• Ford Taunus / Opel Rekord (Era of the 1950s/60s): In the bottom row (notably the white and light pink models on the right) there are various sedans from the early 1960s.
• Jaguar E-Type / Porsche 356: All the way bottom-right in the corner lies a white sports car with a long hood, bearing strong resemblance to a Jaguar E-Type Coupe
4. Commercial vehicles (Top row)
• Classic box van / moving van: Top right (next to the yellow Mercedes bus) are two gray trucks/vans that were widely produced at the time by brands such as Wiking and Herpa.
Before placing a bid — Photos are part of the description, so it is advisable to view them all thoroughly.
