Furniture maker from the early 20th century in Lyon.
The house Henry Bonjour & compagnie, successor of the Honoré Duffin workshops, is renowned for its Art Deco creations (tables, beds, sideboards, bookcases) such as this prettily ornamented specimen with its veneer of the finest effect.
Its works are prized today and sometimes exhibited at auctions.
Very good original condition, (just dusted), this wardrobe may have already celebrated its 100th birthday.
The pivot for the door works very well.
The two swinging doors on each side are very well adjusted just as the sliding of the central drawer does not rub.
The shelves are all present and are height-adjustable. There are five on each side and two in the center.
The key is original and is used to open the three doors.

La maison Henry Bonjour & compagnie, repreneur des ateliers Honoré Duffin, est réputée pour ses créations art déco (Tables , lits , enfilades , bibliothèques ) tel cet exemplaire joliment ornementé et son placage du plus bel effet .
Ses œuvres sont prisées aujourd’hui et parfois exposées à des ventes aux enchères.
Très bon état d’origine, (juste dépoussiéré) , cet armoire a peut-être déjà fêté ses 100 ans .
Le pivot pour la porte fonctionne très bien.
Les deux portes battantes de chaque coté sont très bien ajustées tout comme le coulissage du tiroir central qui ne frotte pas .
Les étagères sont toutes présentes et sont réglables en hauteur . Il y en a cinq de chaque coté et deux au centre .
La clé est d’origine et sert à ouvrir les trois portes .
