Description from the seller
The Yamaha DSP-AX620 is a powerful 5.1-channel AV amplifier (released in the early 2000s) that belongs to Yamaha's well-known Natural Sound range. The device is known for its excellent build quality and reliable audio performance in both home cinema and stereo setups.
Because this model does not have a built-in radio tuner, it is technically an amplifier and not a receiver.
Main Specifications
Power: 90 watts per channel at 8 Ohm (for all 5 channels: Left Front, Right Front, Center, Rear Link, Right Rear).
Audio decoders: Built-in decoders for Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby Pro Logic, combined with Yamaha's own Cinema DSP modes for more spatial sound.
Frequency range: 10 Hz to 100 kHz.
Total harmonic distortion (THD): Only 0.06%.
Speaker Impedance: Supports speakers from 4Ω to 16Ω (adjustable via a switch on the back).
Weight & Dimensions: 10.5 kg | 435 x 151 x 390 mm.
Connection options:
Digital: Equipped with multiple optical (Toslink) and coaxial digital inputs and one optical output.
Analog: Equipped with a Phono input (MM) for record players and various RCA line inputs (CD, Tape, DVD, etc.).
Pre-outs: Features pre-amp outputs for all 6 channels, including an active subwoofer output.
Video: Component, S-Video and composite connections (note: this model is from the pre-HDMI era).
