Description from the seller
Historical keeping-warm container or samovar from Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik (WMF), Geislingen, from the early 20th century.
The decorative collector's item is characterized by its spherical body with partially hammered surface and surrounding geometric embellishments. The container rests on a sturdy three-legged frame and is equipped with a side spigot. At the bottom there is the original burner for keeping the contents warm. The removable lid has a decorative ring handle.
On the underside there is the historical WMF hallmark with the ostrich emblem and the inscription “WMF G” as well as the impressed number 123.
